Thank you to everyone who has registered an interest in the Habinteg Prize 2020 competition. Habinteg Prize 2020 is our 50th anniversary essay competition asking you to consider what the next 50 years of accessible and inclusive homes and neighbourhoods might be like.
As a result of the far reaching impact of Covid-19, we have taken the decision to extend the deadline for entries to our Habinteg Prize 2020 competition. Entrants now have until 11:59pm on Sunday 31 May 2020 to submit their essay.
We have also had to change our plan to announce the competition winner at a June event in the Palace of Westminster. This event has now been postponed until the Autumn of this year all being well. Please watch out for more information on the new date which we’ll publish to the competition page.
The Habinteg 2020 Prize competition is open to both academic and non-academic entries. Disabled people are particularly encouraged to enter, as well as students of subjects such as disability studies, occupational therapy, architecture or inclusive design.
