Maes Trisant properties find a new home with RHA Wales

Habinteg announces today that it has transferred 31 homes in South Wales to local provider, RHA Wales.

The Maes Trisant estate will complement RHA Wales’ existing portfolio, as the housing provider already owns more than 80 homes in the Talbot Green area, as well as an additional housing estate minutes away from Maes Trisant.

Habinteg and RHA Wales have been working together through the transfer process for around six months in consultation with tenants and staff, and today we see the completion of the acquisition and smooth transition to RHA as the new landlord.

Nick Apetroaie, Habinteg Chief Executive said, “Habinteg is pleased that our properties at Maes Trisant are being transferred to a provider with a strong presence in Wales. This has been a key priority expressed by tenants, which came across clearly as part of the consultation.

“I’m grateful for all the collaborative hard work by both RHA and Habinteg teams in preparation for this handover, and wish the Maes Trisant tenants the very best with their new landlord.”

Luke Takeuchi, RHA Wales Chief Executive added, "We're delighted to welcome our new tenants and as we already operate in this area, it means tenants will benefit from our local community presence and our support services. They can be certain we will maintain the high standards of service they are used to.”
