How would you explain your job in one sentence?
It is fast and proactive.

What’s the best thing about your job?
Being able to assist people to sustain their tenancies.

What’s the best thing about working on your schemes?
My tenants.

How many tenants’ lives do you change in a week?
As many as I can physically help.

What’s the nicest thing that’s happened to you on your scheme?
Getting job satisfaction when things go right and there’s a positive impact on the tenants.

What’s the most unexpected thing that’s happened to you on your scheme?
A tenant advising me that a cat has broken into their home!

If you were able to ask one thing of all the tenants in your region, what would you ask?
I would ask them what their priorities are for their scheme.

Which scheme in your region would you like to live on and why?
I live in a rural area and like the country life. However, if pressed, it would be Stephenson Way, North Shields.

You’ve got a bonus holiday for being a great Neighbourhood Manager/Coordinator – how do you spend it?
With my family, grandchildren.

Which of these community soap operas is most like the community you live in: Eastenders, Coronation St, Emmerdale?
Emmerdale.

How would your Habinteg colleagues describe you?
I would like to think that I am well respected, and that people find me approachable and helpful.

If you could choose, who would you most like to live next door to, and why?
It would have to be a police officer or doctor to cover any emergencies.

Please explain the name Habinteg.
It is Latin for integrated housing.
