Managing your rent account on the My Habinteg portal

Managing your rent account online is simple –– the My Habinteg portal allows you to quickly pay your rent, track your payments, and view your rent statement at any time.

With just a few clicks, you can stay on top of your rent and ensure your payments are always up to date.

Registering your account

If you don’t already have an online account, you can set one up quickly.

All you need is your email address, and you can contact Habinteg Direct at 0300 365 3100 to request a username and password to complete your registration. After you’ve been set up, you can access your online account at any time.

Once logged in, you’ll can use account features that will allow you to manage your rent account to making payments, view your statements, and track your balance.

Paying your rent

Your rent account supports different payment methods, making it simple to keep your account up to date. Here's how you can pay:

Direct debit
Set up a Direct Debit, and your rent will be automatically deducted from your bank account every month. This is the easiest way to ensure your payments are always on time.

Pay online
You can make payments online at any time using your debit or credit card through allpay. This option is available 24/7, giving you flexibility to pay when it suits you.

Pay by phone
If you prefer paying by phone, you can use the 24-hour payment line at 0330 041 6497. All you need is your Habinteg rent payment card and your debit or credit card to complete the transaction.

Post Office or PayPoint
You can also use your Habinteg rent payment card to pay your rent at any Post Office or PayPoint outlet. You’ll receive a receipt and payments usually take 24 hours to process.

Bank transfer or standing order
If you prefer to pay by bank transfer or standing order, you can set up payments directly into Habinteg's account using the details provided.

Make sure you include your tenant reference number to link the payment to your rent account.

If you lose your payment card, contact Habinteg Direct on 0300 365 3100, and we’ll send you a new one within four working days.

Financial support

Rent statements are sent twice a year, but you can request additional statements if needed by contacting Habinteg Direct.

The rent statement will show you your current balance, any recent payments, and any service charges that may apply including any arrears.

If you're having trouble paying your rent, don’t hesitate to reach out to our Rent Assist team. The team can help you set up a plan and refer you to other services if necessary, such as benefits advice or Discretionary Housing Payments (DHP).

DHP come from pot of money held by local councils to help people with rent or housing costs.
