We’ve made changes to improve our repair system.
What improvements are we making?
From 10 October, repairs in South London and the South East will be assigned through a new service called Plentific, which replaces our previous contractor MNM Property Services.
Why Plentific?
Plentific has been described as “the Uber of repairs” and is already working with several other Registered Social Landlords, providing good turnaround times on repairs and positive tenant satisfactoin.
Over 18,000 small and medium-sized contractors are registered to the system, all of whom have been vetted and screened.
When a Habinteg tenant in South London or the South East reports a repair, the customer service team will book it onto the Plentific platform and contractors will offer to complete the job. Habinteg will then choose a provider and the contractor will contact the tenant directly to arrange a suitable appointment.
Habinteg Head of Asset Management, Michael Vickers said:
“We have already started to book jobs with Plentific and we are pleased with how it’s going so far. We hope that working with this innovative system will provide a better and faster repairs service to our tenants across the region.”
All repairs will still be recorded on Habinteg’s internal system so we can still have access to the full repairs history for any individual property.
