This includes detailed work on service improvement, reviewing policies and procedures, or other aspects of service improvement, including procurement of national contracts.

The housing management strategy

Tenants were keen on greater visibility of frontline staff in their local areas, so the Housing Management Strategy Task and Finish Group identified ways to facilitate this.

This is now happening via:

Quarterly scheme inspections
Drop-ins and coffee mornings
Enhanced clarity on when staff are present in local scheme offices.

Additional tenant priorities being implemented as part of the strategy include:

Improving communication around anti-social behaviour and ensuring robust action is taken against perpetrators
Better communication about the Tenant Led Improvement Budget
More local news shared via local newsletters
Supporting tenants around cost of living with the promotion of the Hardship Fund and advice from Disability Rights UK.
